This is a commission. :) Based on Laurell K. Hamilton's character in the Anita Blake Vampire Hunter series, this is Jean Claude! He was once a Rainbow Sherbet I. He's been painted white and given the symbol of a red rose with a drop of blood dripping off of it. You can't see in these pics, but he also has his cross scar on his chest. His eyes are dark blue. He has been rehaired with nylon hair in a gorgeous shiny black, which has been curled to fit in with the character.

He is a commission and has already been sold.

Ooo...! Jean Claude was so much fun in that series! Do you know if the author has written more than 3 stories with Anita Blake?

There's a whole big series with Anita Blake. In order they are, Guilty Pleasures, Laughing Corpse, Circus of the Damned, Lunatic Cafe, Bloody Bones, The Killing Dance, Burnt Offerings, Blue Moon, Obsidian Butterfly, Narcissus In Chains, Cerulean Sins, Incubus Dreams, and the latest one is Danse Macabre. There are a few short stories; in the book Bitten there's a story that takes place between Blue Moon and Obsidian Butterfly I think. And there's a novella, Micah, that takes place between Incubus Dreams and Danse Macabre.

Man, I swear after reading the captions on a couple of your MLPs done for Hamilton, I Searched her and found her site. That woman is EVIL, posting teasers from each of her books that's in print...! Damn, I've just spent the last 24 hours (when not sleeping or working) reading every scrap from them I can for free... I'm not paying that almost $30 to read the latest in the group without tracking down all the others first! ARG! MUST! FIND! BOOKS!

Ahem. Yes, I have a severe reading problem. NO, it isn't that I cannot read...! (whimpers with unrequented book-lust...)

I think I have all of the books except for Micah, Cerulean Sins, and Danse Macabre in word format if that helps.

Have you thought of doing ponies on the Merry Gentry series or do you only make ponies by commission?
:iconmarienoire:
Most of the ponies I make are not commissions. I have not yet read the Merry Gentry series, so it'll have to wait. I do really want to make a Frost pony though. :)
