Custom MLP : Ruby Slippers DSby *marienoire

Traditional Art / Miscellaneous

Done for a movie-custom swap on the My Little Pony Trading Post. One of my partner's favourite movies was The Wixard of Oz, so I took that idea and ran with it. Ruby Slippers started out as a Banjo Blue with marker on her face. I painted her white (and remembered to thin the paint this time!), about six or seven coats. Then I completely repainted her eyes and gave her a new symbol. Her new symbol is the famous slippers sitting on the Yellow Brick Road with the Emerald City behind them. She was rerooted with Mist Valley hair in a custom/random mix of red and maroon. She also has a little torando on her hoof where her magnet is. Once she was dried and rerooted her mane was styled into to Dorothy-style braids.

I hope her new owner likes her!
