Custom MLP : Fun In The Sun DSby *marienoire

Artisan Crafts / Dolls, Plushies & Custom Toys

The final pony in my seasonal series. (Let It Snow, Metamorphosis, and Harvest being the other three.) Representing summertime, we have Fun In The Sun. Once a Winterberry (or Wondermint, I forget which), left her original gemstone intact. She's been painted yellow and given new symbols and eyes with high quality acrylics. She has also been rehaired with Restoredoll Orange Blossom katsilk doll hair. (My first time working with restoredoll and I LOVE it!)

Yes, I realize now, she resembles Sun Shimmer, but it was not intentional. I don't even HAVE Sun Shimmer. When I realized how close my design was, I expanded her symbol out and painted her eyes in a more dramatic fashion. Hopefully, she's different enough now.

Formerly Winterberry, if it matters much. Wondermint's head is turned upward. She's quite different from Sun Shimmer, so far as I'm concerned. She reminds me of some kind of Aztec priestess.
